I had only just started the ME Beam Engine when a friend told me that he was putting his workshop up for sale due to ill health. He had also recently started an engine project and that too was up for sale. The engine was Galloway's Non Dead Centre Engine and he had all the castings, write ups etc. The cylinders and base plate were already machined. We soon agreed a price and I had a new project! - but it's going to have to wait while I finish the beam engine.

Well, it seems that Galloway has won over ME and I've had a very enjoyable time making all the bits for this engine.
There's a lot of parts - and even more 8BA screws!
Even more work and it's time to see if it all fits together. Then the fitting to make it all work....
It fits! and it all moves.
